ARCTIC GLACIER NAMED VENDOR OF THE YEAR BY CUB FOODS
Award Cites Excellent Service, Quality Products, Long Term Partnership
Winnipeg, August 25, 2008 – Arctic Glacier Income Fund (TSX:AG.UN), a leading
producer, marketer and distributor of high-quality packaged ice in North America, today
announced it was awarded Cub Foods’ Mass Vendor of the Year. The award was presented
at the annual Cub Cares Community Foundation dinner in Minnesota earlier this month,
hosted by Cub Foods, a division of SUPERVALU Inc.
The award recognizes excellence in service, the provision of consistent, high quality products
and a true long term partnership between Cub Foods and Arctic Glacier. Last year, Arctic
Glacier demonstrated this partnership through its actions when it reached out to Cub Foods
after the devastating 35W Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to help provide relief
to the emergency responders and those involved in the cleanup efforts.
“This award is a testament to Arctic Glacier’s unwavering commitment to our customers and
the communities in which we operate,” said Keith McMahon, President and CEO of the
Fund’s operating subsidiary, Arctic Glacier Inc. “We are honoured and look forward to our
continued mutual success with Cub Foods.”
