ARCTIC GLACIER NAMED VENDOR OF THE YEAR BY CUB FOODS

Award Cites Excellent Service, Quality Products, Long Term Partnership

Winnipeg, August 25, 2008 – Arctic Glacier Income Fund (TSX:AG.UN), a leading producer, marketer and distributor of high-quality packaged ice in North America, today announced it was awarded Cub Foods’ Mass Vendor of the Year. The award was presented at the annual Cub Cares Community Foundation dinner in Minnesota earlier this month, hosted by Cub Foods, a division of SUPERVALU Inc.

The award recognizes excellence in service, the provision of consistent, high quality products and a true long term partnership between Cub Foods and Arctic Glacier. Last year, Arctic Glacier demonstrated this partnership through its actions when it reached out to Cub Foods after the devastating 35W Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to help provide relief to the emergency responders and those involved in the cleanup efforts.

“This award is a testament to Arctic Glacier’s unwavering commitment to our customers and the communities in which we operate,” said Keith McMahon, President and CEO of the Fund’s operating subsidiary, Arctic Glacier Inc. “We are honoured and look forward to our continued mutual success with Cub Foods.”

Cub Foods is a discount food store chain in the United States, with 83 outlets in Minnesota and Wisconsin, most of which are open 24 hours a day. SUPERVALU is one of the largest companies in the United States grocery industry, with annual sales of approximately US$44 billion. SUPERVALU holds leading market share positions across the U.S. with its approximately 2,475 retail grocery locations, including Acme, Albertsons, biggs, Jewel- Osco, Lucky, Save-A-Lot and Shop’n Save as well as nearly 920 in-store pharmacies. Through SUPERVALU’s nationwide supply chain network, the company provides distribution and related logistics support services to more than 5,000 grocery retail endpoints across the country.

The Cub Cares Community Foundation is devoted to two key initiatives designed to make a difference in individual communities – hunger relief and youth education. The Foundation assists local food shelves with donated food, administers a local scholarship program for high school seniors and helps fund local charities that make a difference in the lives of community members.

The honour was presented by Cub Foods’ senior management, consisting of Brian Huff, President; Mike Witt, Senior Vice President Merchandising and Brett Wing, Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. The ceremony, which took place on August 14, 2008 during the annual Cub Cares Community Foundation dinner, was attended by every major vendor that services Cub Foods.
