January 22, 1999 - Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Arctic Group Inc. announced it has completed the acquisition of all the issued and outstanding shares of The Ice Shoppe Inc. of Whitby, Ontario. The Ice Shoppe services the Oshawa area of Ontario.

The acquisition of The Ice Shoppe has been completed through a combination of cash, debt and shares. This acquisition enables The Arctic Group Inc. to further service accounts on a national basis.
